Use of Merely Points
Merely Points is a social fantasy sports and free-to-play contest platform. By using the site, creating an account, joining a contest, placing picks, or receiving notifications, you agree to use the service lawfully and responsibly.
Merely Points contests use points for entertainment and league play. Unless a contest page says otherwise, site points have no cash value and are not redeemable as currency.
Accounts and Eligibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your login credentials secure. You may not use Merely Points to violate any law, interfere with the site, abuse another user, or submit false or misleading information.
Games, Lines, Results, and Availability
Game schedules, lines, scores, and results may come from third-party data providers. We work to keep the experience accurate and timely, but updates can be delayed, corrected, or unavailable. Wagering closes based on the game time displayed in the app.
Merely Points is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We are not responsible for service interruptions, data provider issues, or delayed game/result updates.
SMS Terms
If you provide your mobile number and opt in to texts, you agree to receive Merely Points SMS messages such as account notifications, league reminders, game reminders, standings alerts, balance alerts, and support-related replies.
Message frequency varies based on your contests, preferences, and activity, but notification sends are capped by the application where applicable. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.
You can text STOP to unsubscribe from SMS messages. You can text START or UNSTOP to opt back in, HELP for help, ALL OFF to pause Merely Points notifications, or manage text preferences from your account settings.
User Content and Conduct
You are responsible for content you submit, including league messages, comments, names, and profile details. Do not submit unlawful, abusive, harassing, deceptive, infringing, or spam content.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Merely Points and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, contests, notifications, or data shown in the service.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Merely Points after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
